Description of key information
Closed cup flash point of 2-amino-2-methylpropanol is about 80°C under normal pressure, depending on the level of impurities and water content.
Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information
Two good quality studies were performed on the neat substance grade with the following results: 82.1 and 77.8 °C.
Therefore, we can evaluate the flash point of the substance to be 80 °C.
