Additional information

Two studies on aquatic invertebrates are available, both using Daphnia magna as test organisms exposed over a test period of 48 hours. The first study reported an EC50 value of 982 mg test substance/litre, based on nominal values and confirmed by analytical verification of the test substance concentration. The second study reported an EC50 value of 750 mg test substance per litre, also based on nominal values. However, this could not be verified, as details of the analytical results were not reported thus indicating a lack of reliability. Therefore, the EC50 of 982 mg/l reported in the first study was regarded to be the key value for the risk assessment.
