Distribution of Potassium sorbate in the environment was estimated using the Mackay level I model using the EQC software, version 2.02, available as a free download from the Canadian Environmental Modelling Centre homepage (http://www.trentu.ca/cemc/welcome.html).


Based on the Mackay level I estimation of distribution of Potassium sorbate in the environment, representing an equilibrium situation, the substance will almost entirely be distributed into water, and to a negligible extent into the other compartments.
