Additional information

Several reliable literature sources report the density of 2-ethyl-4-methyl-1H-imidazole as result from experimental studies consistently to be 0.975 g/cm3. In addition a historic BASF study is available measured at 50°C. The value which originates from Yaws' Handbook of Physical Properties for Hydrocarbons and Chemicals which is an authoritative secondary source is 0.975 g/ml at 25°C is regarded to be reliable for 2-ethyl-4-methyl-1H-imidazole.
