EC number: 932-165-8
CAS number: -
In contact with the flame of the gas
burner, the test substance glowed and turned into a grey residue. Grey
smoke was observed. After removal of the ignition source, no propagation
of combustion of the test substance was observed.
Not flammable upon ignition.
No pyrophoric properties.
Does not liberate flammable gases on contact with water.
For dry matter of Vinasses, flammability is derived from a test with
Vinasses, residue of fermentation containing Corynebacterium glutamicum
(EU Method A.10). Since all Vinasses are very similar in composition,
flammability is as well very similar.
Based on experience in handling and use, Vinasses have no pyrophoric
properties and do not emit flammable gases in contact with water;
therefore, pyrophoricity and flammability are not expected for Vinasses
in form of suspension/aqueous solution and paste.
No classification for Vinasses in form of suspension in water, paste and
in dry matter according to the DSD (67/548/EEC) and CLP (1272/2008/EC)
