CAS number: -
No exothermic effect of the test substance
was observed. It demonstrated that the test substance is “not a
self-heating substance”. According to the guideline, no further testing
the experiment, the test substance had turned into a brown/black
residue. It indicated that the test substance had been molten,
decomposed and/or reacted during the experiment.
Auto-ignition temperature: not applicable.Not a self-heating substance.
For dry matter of Vinasses auto flammability was derived from a test
with Vinasses, residue of fermentation containing biomass of
Corynebacterium glutamicum, which was performed according to UN RTDG
Test N.4. Since all Vinasses subgroups are very similar in composition,
auto flammability is as well very similar.
Vinasses in form of suspension and paste are composed of dry matter
of Vinasses and water, thus, a self-heating property is not expected.
