Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

According to the OECD Guideline 115 the surface tension was determined as 64.6 mN/m at a concentration of lower than 5 mg/l with the plate tensiometer by ninety percent saturation concentration of the test item in water.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Surface tension:
64.6

Additional information

For verification of the measured values demineralized water was also measured. With a correspondence of the measured value σ (20 °C) = 72.5 mN/m, to the theoretical value σ (20 °C) = 72.75 mN/m, cited in literature, the determination of the surface tension of the test item was considered as valid.
