First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove from exposure. If there is difficulty in breathing,
give oxygen. Seek medical attention if symptoms persist.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately flush the eye with plenty of water for at least
15 minutes, holding the eye open. Obtain medical attention
if soreness or redness persists.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash skin with water. Continue washing for at least 15
minutes. Obtain medical attention if blistering occurs or
redness persists.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water. Have victim drink 1-3 glasses of
water to dilute stomach contents. Immediate medical
attention is required. Never administer anything by mouth if
a victim is losing consciousness, is unconscious or is
convulsing.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Select extinguishing agent appropriate to other materials
involved.

Product arising from burning: COx, SO2, oxides of Silicon.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Wear full protective clothing and self-contained breathing
apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Cover with absorbent or contain. Collect and dispose.

Handling and storage

Handling: Use only in well-ventilated areas. Avoid breathing vapor.

Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: 610 Recovery, not specified.

The substance will only be imported into the EU in a
preparation. Due to the low concentration of the substance
in the product formulation, recovery would not be effective.
Contaminated product cannot be recycled in most cases.

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: 630 Neutralisation, not specified.

Not applicable.

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: 660 Incineration, not specified.

Contaminated containers or spillages of the preparation
mixed with inert material (e.g. sand or soil) may be
disposed of at an authorized tip in accordance with local
regulations.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: 660 Incineration, not specified.

The usual route to destruction of this material is by
dissolution into a cleaning or wash solvent followed by
incineration.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: 640 Removal, not specified.

In the unlikely event that the preparation should enter the
water treatment systems, contaminated water should be
treated by means of flocculation precipitation. The
precipitated material should be incinerated.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - other: None known.

Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable. Substance will not be available for the
public at large.

Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable. Substance will not be available for the
public at large.

public at large.

Public at large - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Not applicable. Substance will not be available for the
public at large.

Public at large - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not applicable. Substance will not be available for the
public at large.
