Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

In a GLP hydrolysis study performed according to OECD guideline 111, hydrolysis of the test substance was tested at varying temperatures and as a function of pH. In a preliminary test hydrolysis was measured at 50°C at pH 4, 7 and 9, showing a degree of hydrolysis of < 10% after 5 days at pH 7 and 9. Therefore at pH 7 and 9 the hydrolysis at 25oC was considered to be > 1yr. In the main test half-lives were determined at pH 4, at 60 and 70°C. From the main study, the rate of degradation of the test substance at 25°C was calculated, resulting in a DT50 of 34.1 days.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
