Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air. Seek medical attention if signs
of respiratory irritation occur.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush eyes immediately with plenty of water. Seek medical
attention if irritation occurs.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash affected area throughly
with soap and water. Seek medical attention if irritation
occurs. Launder clothing before re-use.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Rinse mouth throoughly with water. Seek medical attention if
necessary.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, foeam, carbon dioxide or dry chemical may be used.

Product arising from burning: The substance is combustible and will burn if involved in a
fire, evolving noxious fumes (eg carbon oxides). However ,
there is no experimental evidence to support the anticipated
combustion products.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Full protective clothing and self-contained breathing
apparatus must be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Evacuate personnel from immediate vicinity.

Shout off all sources of ignition. Avoid raising dust. Sweep
up - place in a solid waste container.

Dispose of waste material by incineration in accordance with
local regulations.

Handling and storage

Handling: The substance should be stored handled and used in
conditions of good industrial hygiene and conformity with
any local regulations in order to avoid exposure by
inhalation or dermal exposure

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Ready to use packaged 10 ml syringes containing 10 grams of
preparation.

Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Handling of the substance will be by trained operators and
will be kept to a minimum.

Discharge to the environment will be minimal. Recovery from
minor spillages or accidental discharge is not economically
or technically feasible, and such waste material will not be
disposed of by incineration. In principle, it may be
possible to recover larger spillages of uncontaminated
material for subsequent use.

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: The substance is not anticipated to present a risk to
workers as the substance will be used under conditions of
good industrial hygiene.

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: No waste material will be disposed of by landfill.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: The substance can be disposed of by incineration by burning
under controlled conditions at a licensed waste treatment
processor in accordance with local regulations. Stack gases
should be scrubbed, because noxious fumes (eg carbon oxides)
could be formed.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: The substance should not normally be discharged directly to
the sewage system or the aqueous environment.

Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable as the substance will not be made available
to the general public.

Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable as the substance will not be made available
to the general public.

Public at large - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not applicable as the substance will not be made available
to the general public.

Public at large - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Not applicable as the substance will not be made available
to the general public.

Public at large - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not applicable as the substance will not be made available
to the general public.
