First-aid measures

Inhalation: Inhalation of metals in massive form is not expected. If use or processes produce dust or fumes, and inhalation of the product is suspected, remove exposed person to fresh air, give rest and obtain medical attention.

Ingestion:  Ingestion of metals in massive form is not expected. However, if ingestion of the product is suspected, Induce vomiting, only if affected person is fully conscious. If symptoms persist consult doctor.

Eye contact: Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. Consult a doctor.

Skin contact: Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly. If skin irritation continues, consult a doctor.

Information for doctor: Treat symptomatically.

Additional information: Immediately take off all contaminated clothing.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing agents: Special powder for metal fires, or dry sand.

Unsuitable extinguishing agents: Water, Carbon dioxide.

Special protective equipment: Wear self-contained respiratory protective device. Do not inhale explosion gases or combustion gases.

Additional information: Dispose of fire debris and contaminated fire fighting water in accordance with official regulations.

Accidental release measures

Use respiratory protective device against the effects of fumes/dust/aerosol.

Keep away from ignition sources.

Environmental precautions: No special measures required.

Measures for cleaning/collecting:

Pick up mechanically. Keep away from water. Avoid formation of dust.

Prevent formation of dust. Provide suction extractors if dust is formed. Any unavoidable deposit of dust must be regularly removed. Ensure that suitable extractors are available on processing machines.

Handle with care. Avoid jolting, friction and impact.

Use only anhydrous oils and anti-corrosive agents.

Storage:

Store only in the original receptacle.

Do not store together with alkalis (caustic solutions). Do not store together with acids. Store away from oxidizing agents.

Keep container tightly sealed. Store receptacle in a well ventilated area. Protect from humidity and water. Store in dry conditions.

General protective and hygienic measures: Do not eat or drink while working. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work. Do not inhale dust / smoke / mist. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin. Use skin protection cream for skin protection.

Respiratory protection: Use suitable respiratory protective device (P1, FFP1 filter) when high concentrations of dust are present.

Hand protection: Wear protective gloves (EN374) made of nitrile rubber or butyl rubber.

Dangerous reactions: Reacts with acids, alkalis and oxidizing agents. Reacts with water.
