Using a linear increase in temperature of about 0.5 °C/min, Yellow 6314-PPT showed no relevant exothermic reaction. Yellow 6314-PPT has a melting point at about 161 °C. As the above mentioned guideline only applies to solids, the temperature range between 161 °C and 400 °C is not relevant for the present test item. At the end of the measurement Yellow 6314-PPT was melted and was carbonized and coloured black.

The test item is not autoflammable under the test conditions.
