During the main test the auto-ignition temperature of nopol was determined to be 260°C at 986 hPa.

Conclusions:
The auto ignition temperature of nopol was determined to be 260 °C at 986 hPa.
Executive summary:

The determination of the auto flammability was performed in accordance with regulation (EC) No 440/2008 method A.15 "Auto-Ignition Temperature (Liquids and Gases)" (May 2008) and the Standard Test Method DIN 51794.

In the preliminary test, ignition was observed at around 260 °C at 986 hPa.

In the main test, the auto ignition temperature of nopol was determined to be 260°C at 986 hPa.

Description of key information

The auto ignition temperature was determined according to the DIN 51794 standard method.
The auto ignition temperature of nopol is 260 °C at 986 hPa.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
260 °C

Additional information

Key study conducted according to EU Method A.15 and DIN 51794 Method. The result is scientifically acceptable but not obtained under GLP. Therefore a reliability of 2 (reliable with restrictions) is assigned.
