Additional information

There is no Guideline test on bioaccumulation in terrestrial or aquatic organisms available. Therefore, the bioconcentration factor of the substance was estimated according QSAR models described in the Technical Guidance Document on Risk Assessment (2003). Considering the calculated values for the BCF in earthworm (0.96 L/kg) and in fish (1.41 L/kg) no accumulation in biota is expected. In addition, the constituents of the reaction product (substance) hydrolyse in aqueous media. Thus, experimental determination of the bioconcentration in aqueous media is not possible.Furthermore, direct exposure to the soil compartment does not occur. Therefore, a test on bioconcentration of the substance or its constituents in terrestrial or aquatic organisms is scientifically not justified.
