Summary of Results

The values of vapor pressure at 25 °C extrapolated from each graph are summarized in the following table:

Run Log10 [Vp(25°C)]
1 0.808
2 0.829
3 0.829
4 0.846
5 0.853
6 0.826
7 0.834
Mean 0.832
Vapor Pressure 6.8 Pa

The test item did not change in appearance under the conditions used in the determination.

Conclusions:
The vapor pressure of test item has been determined to be 6.8 Pa at 25 °C.
Executive summary:

Introduction

The determination was carried out using a procedure designed to be compatible with Method A.4 Vapour Pressure of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 104 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 23 March 2006.

Results

A total of 7 runs were completed for the main sequence. Equilibrium with regard to vapor pressure was assessed to have been achieved immediately and therefore all runs have been used to calculate the definitive vapor pressure value for the test item (Please refer to 'Any other information on results incl. tables).

Conclusion

The vapor pressure of the test item has been determined to be 6.8 Pa at 25 ºC.

Description of key information

The vapour pressure of the test item has been determined to be 6.8 Pa at 25 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
6.8 Pa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The determination of vapour pressure of MEDOL-10 was carried out using the vapor pressure balance method (Envigo Research Limited, 2018, MR64VV). The procedure was designed to be compatible the EC Method A.4 and the OECD test guidelines 104, and in compliance with GLP.

The vapour pressure of the test item has been determined to be 6.8 Pa at 25 °C.
