Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Density (aqueous solution): 1.17 - 1.42 at 20°C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A number of specific gravity/density values of individual commercial aqueous products are known. While the individual sources are secondary literature, meaning that in most cases the reliabilities are not assignable, overall the weight of evidence is taken to be adequately reliable for the purpose of registration, particularly in view of the acceptance of the data in the HPV program.

Relative density values of 1.38-1.42 at 20°C and density values of 1.36 g/cm3 at 20°C and 1.17 g/cm3 at 20°C were reported for commercial solution (aqueous solution) of HEDP-xK in available secondary sources.
