The measurements in aluminium crucibles with a hole showed no endothermal effect between the melting and the decomposition of the test item. The test item showed no boiling point at atmospheric conditions because it decomposed first starting at a temperature of 230 °C (thermal stability).

An exothermal effect was observed after the melting in the temperature range of 240 - 365 °C (235 - 420 °C thermal stability). No endothermic effect was observed between the melting of the test item and its decomposition. Therefore the test item had no boiling point under atmospheric conditions.

Description of key information

The substance has no boiling point at atmospheric conditions because it decomposes first starting at a temperature of ca. 230 °C (pure substance) and 235 °C (technical substance). (OECD Guideline 103, DSC)
