EC number: 245-844-2
CAS number: 23726-93-4
The registered substance is not considered
readily biodegradable because the 10-day window is not fulfilled.
However, as 77% biodegradation was observed after 48 days of exposure in
the biodegradation study, the registered substance is not considered
persistent (P). In addition, with a log Kow lower than 4.5 and an
experimental BCF value well lower than 2000 L/kg, the registered
substance does not meet the criterion for bioaccumulation (B). For the T
criterion, no chronic NOEC/EC10 are available. However, the most
sensitive species in acute conditions is fish with a 96h-LC50 value
greater than 0.1 mg/L (at 1.09 mg/L), therefore the registered substance
is presumably not toxic (T).
In conclusion, the registered substance
could not be considered as a PBT or vPvB substance.
