A read-across approach based on structural similarity between bicyclic terpenes and on composition of the UVCB substance gum turpentine oil allowed to choose a key value for the vapour pressure of (-)-beta-pinene. This choice is supported by several data from secondary literature (experimental or estimated by calculation).
