First-aid measures
Inhalation : Remove subject to fresh air
Consult a doctor in case of breathing difficulties
Skin contact : Remove contaminated clothes and wash affected area with soap and water
Consult a doctor in case of irritation
Eye contact : Immediately flush eyes with water and continue rinsing eyes for at least 15 min
Consult an ophtalmologist
Ingestion : Do not induce drinking or vomiting.
Immediately transfer to hospital in a medicalized vehicle
Fire-fighting measures
Note on Special Exposure hazards : combustion of this substance generates toxic gases (CO, NOx, SOx, HCl)
Special protective equipment : wear a self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and appropriate protective clothing.
Accidental release measures
Wear apron, protective shoes, full protective suit and check that a security shower is available near the handling zone.
Environmental precautions : avoid release to the soil and water contamination.
Methods for cleaning-up : pick up and place into proof containers for disposal.
Handling and storage
Loading through the manhole or using a PTS (Powder Transfer System)
Avoid contact whith skin or eyes, do not breathe dust.
Storage : Store in tightly closed containers in a cool and dry place.
