Monitoring data
A literature search for the environmental levels of the registration substance EHMC was conducted. A broad data basis on the concentration of 2-ethylhexyl (2E)-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)acrylate (EHMC) in aquatic compartments is available. The following concentrations are considered as key values: Surface water (freshwater): 7552 ng/L; surface water (marine): 756.4 ng/L; sediment (freshwater): < 15000 ng/g dw; sediment (marine): 35.8 ng/g dw; sediment (estuarine): 17.6 ng/g dw; waste water effluent: 45 ng/L; sludge from waste water treatment plants: 4689 ng/g dw; biota: 241.7 ng/g dw.
