Description of key information
The test item Lovastatin has to be classified as not highly flammable in the sense of the test guideline Council Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, Method A. 10.

Additional information
Lovastatin was not flammable within 2 min by the flame of a gas burner. Within the flame of the gas burner the test item melted to a yellowish liquid under formation of yellow to orange sparks. After removing the gas burner flame neither the solid nor the melted test item kept burning self-actingly.

The test item Lovastatin has to be classified as not highly flammable in the sense of the test guideline Council Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, Method A. 10.
