Results and discussion

Any other information on results incl. tables

In the absence of a metabolic activation system DNCB was toxic to V 79 cells at all tested concentrations (0,5 - 2025 µg/ml). Even at the lowest tested concentration only about 5 % of the seeded cells survived. Addition of a metabolic system increased the lowest toxic

dose to 10 µg/ml (44.7% survival)

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
DNCB was highly toxic ine presence and absence of an activation system to V79 cells in vitro.
