Room temperature: 19 to 20°C.

Atmospheric pressure: 101.4 to 101.5 kPa

Conclusions:
This parameter/method is not relevant for classification; however the information is useful regarding process safety and potential additional fire hazard.
No particular hazard is anticipated in normal conditions of storage.
Executive summary:

The auto-ignition temperature of the test item has been determined according to IEC 79.4 method (listed in EU A15 guideline), and under GLP.

Aliquots of test item (tested as received) were injected into the flask using a syringe and the flask was observed for signs of ignition over a 300 second period. This procedure was repeated, varying the sample size, as necessary, until the lowest temperature at which ignition, if any, occurred within 300 seconds of insertion, was determined.

The test item has been determined to have an auto-ignition temperature of 248°C.

Description of key information

No particular hazard is anticipated in normal conditions of storage.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
248 °C

Additional information

A fully reliable experimental study, conducted according to a recognized IEC/EU method and under GLP, is available. It is considered as a key study, and the result is retained as key data.

This parameter is not relevant for classification, however the information is useful regarding process safety and potential additional fire hazard.
