- To determine the solubility of GAP in water more precisely, a simplified test with shorten equilibration times (1, 3 and 6 hours) at room temperature was performed. Each test was performed in duplicate. In conclusion, the water solubility of GAP at room temperature was estimated to be at least 100 g/l, but the test article is not stable under the conditions of the test. Although the test article was completely dissolved after 72 hours (1600 g/l added), only about 700 g/l were found by titration. The water solubility was not corrected for the purity of the test article neither.
