Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusions:
The bioconcentration factor of 1,2,3-trichloropropane in fish ranged from 5.3 to 13.
Executive summary:

The bioconcentration factor of 1,2,3-trichloropropane was tested in accordance with OECD Guideline 305 over six weeks in a continuous flow-through system using carp (Cyprinus carpio). Two levels of 0.02 and 0.2 % were tested. The test solutions were prepared with the dispersant HCO-40. The fish had on average a lipid content of 5.1 %. The bioconcentration factors found at the low dose ranged from 5.3 to 13, and corresponding factors at the high dose ranged from 5.4 to 12.

Additional information

The bioconcentration factor of TCP was tested in accordance with OECD Guideline 305 over six weeks in a continuous flow-through system using carp (Cyprinus carpio) (MITI 1992).
