The flammability of the substance Hydrocarbons, C5-C6, n-alkanes, isoalkanes, was derived from the single constituents of this substance. Based on experience in handling and use and the chemical structure pyrophoricity and flammability on contact with water are not to be expected.
Justification for classification or non-classification
The available data on flammability of the test substance do meet the criteria for classification according to Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 or Directive 67/548/EEC. Based on the chemical structure and experience in handling and use, pyrophoricity and flammability on contact with water are not expected.
Flash-point < 23°C and the initial boiling point ≤ 35°C. The substance is considered to be extremely flammable liquid and vapour. According to CLP classification criteria, the substance needs to be classified as Flam liquid Cat. 1.
