Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

In the sieve analysis, a low proportion of particles were found to be less than 100 µm, and as a result, the test material can be considered essentially non-inhalable. However, using the rotating brush generator, a significant proportion of the test material was caused to form dust, indicating that, under forced conditions, the test material may present a hazard by inhalation.

Additional information

Particle size data was acquired using a procedure designed to comply with that specified in the European Commission technical guidance document 'Particle Size Distribution, Fibre Length and Diameter Distribution' (June 1996).
