Description of key information

The substance decomposes at 262 °C without boiling

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A GLP melting point/freezing point test employing differential scanning calorimetry (Safepharm Laboratories Ltd. in 1998), according to the Annex V A1 92/69/EEC test guideline, determined the melting point to be 262 °C under normal atmospheric pressure and that the substance decomposes at 262 °C without boiling. According to the standard information requirements in Annex VII, section 7.3, column 2, the boiling point does not need to be determined for substances that decompose before boiling.
