Description of key information

The vapour pressure of HFPO is 680.85 kPa (5106.8 mm Hg) at 25 °C.

The vapour pressure of HFPO was evaluated in two studies. In the key study, the vapour pressure was determined to be 680.85 kPa under a static method at 25°C. The static method is approved for this endpoint per OECD TG 104 but does not strictly follow the guideline nor was it conducted in accordance with GLP guidelines. This study is considered reliable with restrictions. In the supporting study, the vapour pressure was determined to be 649.9 kPa at 22.38 °C also by means of a static method not conducted in accordance with GLP guidelines. The supporting study is considered reliable with restrictions. The supporting study reported fewer vapour pressure data points near ambient temperature and does not provide an equation for vapour pressure extrapolation. Therefore, the key study result is considered the preferred value.
