Conclusions:
The vapor pressure of 1,2-Propanediamine, N1-(2-aminoethyl)-3-(4-ethoxyphenyl)-, dihydrochloride, (2S)- is calculated as being equal to 2.1 x 10-7 Pa (2.1 x 10E-9 mbar) at 20 °C, and 4.4 x 10E-7 Pa (4.4 x 10E-9 mbar) at 25 °C.
Executive summary:

The vapor pressure of 1,2-Propanediamine, N1-(2-aminoethyl)-3-(4-ethoxyphenyl)-, dihydrochloride, (2S)- was measured using the Knudsen effusion method (mass-loss technique), according to the guidelines OECD 104 / EU A.4. The quality of the apparatus was previously verified with the measurement of well-known reference compounds. Experiments were performed at three temperatures between 70 °C and 90 °C. Results permit the establishment of the relation between the vapor pressure of the compound and temperature, allowing the knowledge of the vapor pressure at different temperatures. Based on the results, the vapor pressure of 1,2-Propanediamine, N1-(2-aminoethyl)-3-(4-ethoxyphenyl)-, dihydrochloride, (2S)- is calculated as being equal to 2.1 x 10-7 Pa (2.1 x 10-9 mbar) at 20 °C, and 4.4 x 10-7 Pa (4.4 x 10-9 mbar) at 25 °C. Therefore 1,2-Propanediamine, N1-(2-aminoethyl)-3-(4-ethoxyphenyl)-, dihydrochloride, (2S)- is to be considered non volatile in aqueous solution.

Description of key information
