Results and discussion

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Despite of methodical weaknesses of this study a carcinogenic potential can not be excluded for the test item.
Thus o-chlorobenzotrichloride should be classified as R40, Limited evidence of a carcinogenic effect, or H351: Suspected of causing cancer, respectivly.
Executive summary:

According to the authors the tumor incidence for o-chlorobenzotrichloride was considerably lower than that for p-chlorobenzotrichloride but significantly increased in relation to the control group.
