Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The registered substance (EC = 952-252-4) has a low vapour pressure of << 10-6 Pa at 20°C (ASTM E 1782-03).

Moreover, Henry’s law constant calculated QSAR values based on the molecular structure of the alkylamines at pH 7 are available, considering the degree of protonation. For the model calculations, a mean value of 0.01 Pa.m3/mol is used. Considering the low values, volatilisation at environmental conditions is expected to be negligible.

Additional information

The registered substance (EC = 952-252-4) has a low vapour pressure of << 10-6 Pa at 20°C (ASTM E 1782-03).

Phosphoric acid, octadecyl ester are not expected to be volatile according their low vapour pressure value of 0.004 Pa at 25ºC according OECD Guideline 104 and GLP.

Then, calculated QSAR values based on the molecular structure of the amines at pH 7 are available, considering the degree of protonation. For the model calculations, a mean value of 0.01 Pa.m3/mol is used.

Within a weight of evidence approach, information regarding both elements is available showing that the registered substance is not expected to be volatilised from water under environmental conditions.
