Results and discussion

Relative self-ignition temperature (solids)
Key result
Relative self-ignition temperature:
232.6 °C

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Direct Green 28 showed relative self-ignition temperature 232.6°C.
Executive summary:

Temperature of the test substance was higher than temperature ofoven during heating to over the temperature 225°C (this exothermic reaction is apparent from the diagram see Fig. No. 1 and Fig. No. 2). There were two sharp rises of temperatures on the data record; both of them reached the value over 400°C. The first value was corrected for calibrated temperature of the used thermocouples (see Chap. 3.5.). Temperature of ovendetermined by experiments when the temperature of the test substance reached 400°C was 237.4°C (for the first experiment) and 240.1°C (for the second experiment). Average temperature after correction was 232.6°C. Relative self-ignition temperature for the test substance is 232.6 °C.
