First-aid measures

General advice:
Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance.

Inhalation:
If you feel unwell by inhalation of vapour or gas, keep at rest in fresh air and get medical attention.

Skin contact:
Immediately wipe off the attached material with cloth.
Wash off thoroughly with plenty of water and soap or cleanser for skin. Do not use solvent or thinner.

Eye contact:
Immediately wash with plenty of clean water for more than 15 minutes.
Wash completely to the reverse side of an eyelid.
Get medical attention as soon as possible.

Ingestion:
If swallowed by accident, keep at rest and get medical attention.
Do not swallow vomit.
Do not induce vomiting unless instructed to do so by a doctor.

Protection of first- aiders:
Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed:
May cause skin reaction through repeated exposure

Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed:
No specific information is available. Symptomatic treatment is advised.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media:

Suitable extinguishing media:
Dry powder, carbon dioxide (CO2), foam, water spray.

Unsuitable extinguishing media:
Use of jet water may spread a fire.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
Gas generated from combustion contains hazardous carbon monoxide.
May ignites by friction, heat, spark or fire.
May explode by heat.
May explodes or burn with explosive intensity
May ignites again after extinction.

Advice for firefighters:
Wear appropriate protective equipment (self-contained breathing apparatus, fire-proof clothing, protective mask).

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Evacuate personnel from immediate vicinity to safe areas. Keep people away from and upwind of spill/leak.
Use personal protective and respiratory equipment conforming to standard EN143.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Avoid raising dust.

Environmental precautions:
Do not allow material to contaminate ground water system. Prevent product from entering drains.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
Avoid dust formation by damping with water. Absorb spillages with a suitable inert material (e.g. sand or soil).
Transfer the spillage to waste containers labelled in the same way as the original containers. Clean the spillage area with calcium hydroxide slurry in water.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling:
The substance should be handled under conditions of good industrial hygiene and in conformity with any local regulations in order to avoid unnecessary exposure.
Avoid dust formation.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Keep containers tightly closed when not in use. Secure containers against dropping. No known incompatibilities.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Control parameters:
No exposure limits have been established.

Appropriate engineering controls:
Provide local exhaust ventilation, particularly in case the substance is used in a process at elevated temperature.
Use explosion-proof electrical equipment in handling place. Take measures against static electricity for equipment and facilities.
Install an emergency eye-washing facility and shower near the work place. Clearly indicate the location of the facility.

Personal protective equipment:

Eye:
Protective glasses (ordinary safety glasses, safety glasses with side shields, goggles).

Hand:
Wear protective gloves. Protective gloves (chemical-resistant).

Skin and clothing:
Protective boots (oil-resistant), face shield, protective clothing, protective apron.

Respiratory protection:
Dust protective mask or gas mask as appropriate.

Environmental exposure controls:
Dispose of contents and container in line with national and local regulations. Avoid contamination of sewerage system. Contact local environment agency if large volumes enter waterways.

Stability and reactivity

Reactivity:
No hazardous reactivity is expected under normal working cconditions.

Chemical stability:
Stable under normal working conditions.

Possibility of hazardous reactions:
No hazardous reactions are expected under normal working conditions.

Conditions to avoid:

Incompatible materials:
Avoid creating dust clouds.
Do not allow to disperse into atmosphere.

Hazardous decomposition products:
Strong oxidizer, strong acids, strong alkalis, amines, and aacid anhydrides.
Carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, etc are generated by combustion.

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods:
Dispose of using a licensed waste contractor to prescribed landfill or licensed liquid treatment plant.

Product/ Packaging disposal
Dispose of using a licensed waste contractor to prescribed landfill.

Waste treatment-relevant information:
Do not release product into water ways, sewers or landfill.
Dispose of in accordance with local and national regulations.
