First-aid measures
First-aid measures after inhalation: Remove victim to uncontaminated area. Allow the victim to rest. Seek medical advice (show the label where possible).
First-aid measures after skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin thoroughly with mild soap and water. Duration: at least 15 minutes. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention.
First-aid measures after eye contact: Immediately flush eyes thoroughly with water for at least 30 minutes. Seek medical advice.
First-aid measures after ingestion: IF SWALLOWED: Get medical advice/attention. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Do NOT induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Use the extinguishing material recommended for the primary cause of fire.
Precautionary measures fire: Upon heating, toxic fumes are formed.
Firefighting instructions: Prevent material from entering waterways, sewers or surface draining systems.
Protection during firefighting: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective suit.
Accidental release measures
General measures: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment in case of accidental release. Use self-contained breathing apparatus.
Environmental precautions: Avoid release to the environment.
Methods for cleaning up: Stop leak if safe to do so. Collect spillage. Avoid creating or spreading dust. Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal. Clean contaminated surfaces with an excess of water. Ventilate area.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling: Avoid creating or spreading dust. Provide local exhaust or general room ventilation to minimize exposure to dust.
Storage conditions: Use good housekeeping practices during storage, transfer, handling, to avoid excessive dust accumulation. Store at room temperature. Avoid: Excess humidity and exposure to light. Label the container and provide warning statements to prevent any contact.

Exposure controls / personal protection
1. Technical protection measures
Handle product in closed system or provide appropriate general and local exhaust ventilation. All liquid/powder handling operations should be performed in a contained manner using a suitably designed and performance verified containment system. Both local exhaust and general room ventilation are usually required.
2. Organisational protection measures
Access forbidden to unauthorised personnel. Use in combination with respiratory protective equipment until containment performance monitoring has verified that the respiratory protective equipment is not required. The level of protection provided by engineering and other preventive measures should be validated by occupational hygiene monitoring. Follow standard monitoring procedures. Provide eyewash stations.
3. Hand protection
Nitrile gloves (0.1 mm thickness) are recommended for light activities where contact with material may arise. For more direct contact or rigorous work a heavier duty nitrile gauntlet (0.35 mm thickness) may be worn. Gloves should conform with EN374-3 (breakthrough > 480 min).

Wear a protective coat or protective coverall as required. Garments must be CE marked and antistatic and conform to the relevant guideline EC 89/686.

Wear approved safety glasses or safety goggles where required. Safety eyeware should be CE marked and conform with EN166.
7. Respiratory protection
If ventilation/containment are insufficient suitable respiratory protection must be provided. Depending on the level of emissions from the process/activity an appropriate dust mask (EN149) or a respirator (EN136) with a particulate filter (EN14387) should be worn. If exposures are significant a higher level of protection is required in such cases an air hood (EN14594) should be worn.
Stability and reactivity
Incompatible materials: Keep away from strong oxidizers.
Disposal considerations
Dispose of waste product or used containers according to local regulations. Ensure all national/local regulations are observed.
