The second criterion is fulfilled for T002675. Additionaly, it can be stated that the oxygen balance of the substance is negative as calculated based on the UN Recommendations on the Transport Dangerous Goods. In principle, this means, that there is a surplus of carbon atoms for a complete reaction.

Description of key information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VII, the oxidising properties study does not need to be conducted because the substance is incapable of reacting exothermically with combustible materials based on the basis of the chemical structure. It can be concluded beyond a reasonable doubt that T002675 is not capable of causing fire or enhancing the risk of fire when in contact with combustible material (K2, Expert statement, Weissenfled, 2007).
