Description of key information

The flash point of the substance was determined in a GLP study according to test method EC A.9 and ISO2719:2002 to be 161°C (K2, Weissenfeld, 2007). Based on the criteria as outlined in the OECD Guideline, T002675 is not a flammable substance.

Additional information

The flash point of T002675 was determined following the closed cup method, and using the Pensky Martens flash point tester. The flash point was tested every 2 degrees and was determined to be 161°C at 99kPa, which is above the threshold for classification for flammability (60°C).
