EC number: 946-670-6
CAS number: -
Combination of the SimpleTreat STP modelisation and a Fugacity Level III
model (use of the distribution from the STP as input for the Fugacity
model) indicates that Thujopsene will be mainly emitted to air in which
its half-life is relatively short, and adsorbed on solid matter. The
initial emissions going through a standard STP, and from it to air,
water and soil (sludge application on soil), may be in a first
equilibrium stage distributed in environment as follows: 0.025% to air,
0.002% to water, 12.145 to soil, 0.044 to sediment, and 87.784% removed
from the system (mainly by OH radical degradation in air, but also
biodegradation in the STP and the different environmental compartments).
