Results and discussion

Auto-ignition temperature (liquids / gases)
Key result
Auto-ignition temperature:
275 °C
Atm. press.:
101 325 Pa

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

The lowest temperature giving a positive effect was 279oC. The injected volume was 100ul, the ignition delay was 20s.

At a temperature of 274oC no ignition was observed.

Therefore, after rounding-off to the next-lower multiple of 5oC: the auto-ignition temperature of Neofolione : 275 +/-10oC.
