Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The water solubility of this substance was deduced from the measurement of similar substances: propane-1,2,3-triyl trioctadecanoate (CAS 555-43-1) and docosanoic acid ester with 1,2,3-propanetriol (CAS 77538-19-3). The water solubility for the first substance was determined to be 3.0 mg/L at 20 °C (shake flask method analysed by TOC) and for the second was <0.05 mg/L (column elution method analysed by GC/MS). For analogue substances with the same structural backbone, water solubility is a property where increasing chain length leads to decreasing solubility. Therefore, the water solubility can be deduced to be <0.05 mg/L at 20 °C. Additionally, the estimated water solubility for target substance <0.0001 g/L is supporting (QSAR).
