Description of key information

The adsorption/desorption coefficient was estimated by using KOCWIN v2.00 from EPI SUITE 2000 (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency). The methods applied produced the following values: 3.45 for the MCI method and 4.39 from method using log Kow value (6.5).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The highest log Koc value (4.39) was used for chemical safety assessment (CSA) and for the derivation of Predicted No-Effect Concentrations (PNEC) in sediments and soil.

This value was considered as a worst-case value, as an increase in the adsorption/desorption coefficient value leads to a significant increase of the PEC soil value.
