Description of key information

log Pow range = 5.63 - 36.44 (QSAR)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The log Pow of the substance Glycerides, C16-18 and C18-unsatd. mono- and di-, citrates (CAS 91052-16-3) was determined by QSAR calculation with KOWWIN v1.68.

The log Pow results for the six constituents of the substance cover a range of values:

Monoglyceride (1)/C16:0 fatty acid component = 5.63

Diglyceride (1)/C16:0 fatty acid component = 10.10

Monoglyceride (3), Citric acid/C18:2 fatty acid component = 18.50

Monoglyceride (2), Citric acid/C18:2 fatty acid component = 11.80

Monoglyceride (1), Diglyceride (2), Citric acid/C18:1 fatty acid component = 36.44

Diglyceride (2), Citric acid/C18:1 fatty acid component = 29.44

No exact temperature and pH are given; it is assumed that the results correspond to room temperature and neutral range of pH.
