Publication contains extracts from case reports covering a three year period of chemical burns to the eye treated by the author. Single report of case involving methoxyethanol (methyl ‘Cellosolve’) where prompt healing was reported to have occurred within 48 hours following the author’s recommended first aid treatment. First aid treatment was long flushing with water followed by treatment as required by an opthalmologist within 2 hours of exposure and denudation.
