Additional information

Constituent hydrocarbons of slack wax are produced from vacuum distillation and reported data suggest the boiling points to be between >300°C to 800°C (CONCAWE, 1999a). Additionally, a boiling point range of 315 to 700°C was reported for slack waxes (CONCAWE, 2010a). Boiling point was determined using the EN 15199/ASTM D 1160 test method.
