Description of key information

The estimated Henry’s law constant of 3.66 x10-6 Pa-m3/mole at 20°C is considered to be low.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Henry's law constant (H) (in Pa m³/mol):
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

The Henry’s law constant (HLC) of amides, C12-18 (even-numbered) and C18-unsatd., N-hydroxyethyl was estimated by HENRYWIN v3.20 using the bond contribution method. This method uses valid bond contribution values, which are determined for 59 chemical bonds by a least-square analysis of HLCs for 345 organic compounds. The estimated HLC value was 3.66 x10-6 Pa-m3/mole at 20°C.
