Description of key information

The estimated KOH and t1/2 for amides, C12-18 (even-numbered) and C18-unsatd., N-hydroxyethyl using AopWin v1.92 program (EPIWEB v4.0) were found to be 3.57 x 10-11 cm3/molecule-sec and 0.645 days, respectively.

Additional information

The hydroxyl radical reaction half-life value was calculated using the opWin v1.92 program of EPIWEB v 4.0. on a weighted-average basis using the mole fractions of the individual components. The calculated t1/2 was based on a 24 hour daylight hydroxyl radical concentration of 1.5 × 106 molecules (radicals) /cm3and a hydroxyl rate constant of 3.57 x 10-11cm3/molecule-sec.
