Description of key information
The corrected surface tension of a test solution at 90% of C4 Acrylate saturation solubility in water at 20.0°C is 42.6 mN/m. C4 Acrylate is considered a surface active material.

The surface tension test of an aqueous solution of the test substance was determined according to OECD TG 115 harmonized ring method and EEC Directive 92/69 EEC, A.5. A saturated solution was diluted to 90% of saturation and transferred to the measurement vessel. Nine measurements were made at 19-27 minutes to show equilibration. The arithmetic mean of the equilibrated values was calibrated against a water standard and corrected using Harkins-Jordan values. This study was conducted in accordance with OECD TG 115 and is compliant with GLP standards. Therefore this study is classified as reliable without restrictions.
