Any other information on results incl. tables

It was observed that birds at 10000 ppm were subdued on day 5. Body weight was within normal limits in all of the groups. No treatment related effect was reported for food consumption. Mortalities were seen in controls (1 animal; bullying) and in groups treated with 1000, 5000 or 10000 ppm (9/10) Bronopol. Of these, several animals showed signs of bullying. LD50 were calculated with and without these animals. LD50 was found to be 4488 ppm (95% confidence limit 2518 to 9827 ppm) in all animals. When animals showing signs of bullying were excluded, the LD50 was found to be 7379 ppm (infinite confidence limits). LD50 for Dieldrin was found to be 59 ppm (95% confidence limits 40-90 ppm).
