Under acidic conditions the substance will be rapidly hydrolysed. Under neutral and alkaline conditions the substance will degrade slowly.
Read-across data are available for the hydrolysis assessment of the test
substance. For this substance, hydrolysis was tested in a GLP-study
according to EU method C.7 (BASF 1997). It was found that the substance
hydrolyses rapidly under acidic conditions with a half-life <30min at
50°C while under neutral and alkaline conditions hydrolysis rates are
found to be significantly lower indicating a slow degradation in water.
